Method 1 of 2: Add a contact from an email message
Step 1: Open Outlook 2016 on your screen and then open a message you can notice the person’s name in one these lines: From:, To:, Cc:, or Bcc:.
Step 2: You have to right-click on the name it will pop up some options. Search for “Add to Outlook Contacts” among the options and click on it.
Step 3: A new window will be opened. Fill all the details that you have of the corresponding person. The Outlook will automatically fill the email address in the Email box and also the other details that are provided in the message in their appropriate boxes. If the contact belongs to your organization then the window might contain their title, department, phone, and office boxes also.
Method 2 of 2:Add a contact from scratch
Step 1: Click on the people button that is present on the left corner of the screen as shown in the figure. Click on it.
Step 4: If it is the only contact that you want to add the click on “Save & Close”. If you want to add some other contacts then click on “Save & New”, it will prevent the overhead of opening of the new Contact window again and again.
