Step 3: Under ‘Settings’, just traverse to “Forwarding and POP/IMAP” tab.
Step 4: Under ‘Forwarding and POP/IMAP’ tab, click on “Add a forwarding address” button to add a new forwarding email address.
Step 5: Now, a pop-up window may appear asking you to “Enter new forwarding email address”. Just type your forwarding email address there and click on “Next” button.
Step 6: In the same way click on “Proceed” button to continue.
Step 7: After that, Google notifies you, that a confirmation mail has been sent to your new forwarding email address. Just click on “OK” button and open your new Gmail account in a different browser. There, inside the inbox, you may see a mail from Gmail team, which contains a “Verification Code”. You Just need to copy that code and save somewhere in your notepad.
Step 9: Finally, you can see a success message saying “You have verified the following address email@example.com”. You can also perform incoming mail configuration further, just click on “Forward a copy of incoming mail to” radio button. By checking this option, you would be able to receive your incoming mails in both old and new email account simultaneously.
