File sharing is one of the most important part of Windows operating system. This time, Windows 10 has come up with a whole new level of file sharing, which helps in fast sharing of files and folders through its new feature, known as Share tab. By the help of Share tab, you can easily share your local files or folders to the outside world easily and effectively.
Basically, Share tab includes three customize options, i.e., Share, email and zip. Just go through this article to learn how to implement Share tab in Windows 10, by performing the detailed steps as explained below.
Steps to use a Share tab in Windows 10
Step 1: Open the file which you want to share and then click on the “Share tab”, as shown in the figure below.
Step 2: As soon as you click on “Share” icon, you’ll see the Share window pops open on the right-hand side of your screen, just select the sharing option from the list.
Step 3: You can also share your file via email, for that just click on the email icon. You’ll see a window asking for attaching your files to email or not. Click on “Attach” to proceed further.
Step 4: You will see a Microsoft Outlook window in which your file, which you want to share, is attached.
Just configure your email and press “Send” button.
Step 5: You can directly Zip your content by clicking on Zip icon.
Step 6: Finally you can use stop sharing feature, in order to restrict your file sharing, as shown in the image below.
