While giving a presentation you are always careful either worried that you are delivering the presentation with a smooth flow or not. It happens that sometimes you stuck in a slide and try to remember what you have to say.
In such a situation, PowerPoint facilitates you to add notes to all your slides. It also allows you to hide these notes from the audience at the time of presentation. The notes will only appear to the one who is presenting and the audience will view slides only. Isn’t it great?

Steps to add notes in MS PowerPoint 2016:
Step 1: Open your PowerPoint presentation file to which you want to add the notes. Now select the slide to which you want to add the talking points.
Step 2: After selecting the slide click to Notes. The Notes pane box will appear at the bottom of the Slide. Notes pane is a box where you have to type your notes. The Notes pane box will appear with the text Click to add notes.
Step 3: Type your notes in Notes pane box. If the length of the notes exceeds the available length of Notes pane box, then a vertical scroll bar will appear to the right side of the pane. You can enlarge the size of the Note pane box by dragging the top line of the pane.
Step 4: In Slide Show tab under Monitors group see that you have checked the checkbox Use Presenter View. And choose the monitor on which you want to see the presenters view using the Monitor box.
Step 5: Start the slide show from the beginning, and you will see the slide on your left side and the corresponding notes on your right side.
You can adjust the size of the text using increase font size or decrease font size button.
Step 6: In the Presenters view, below the slide, you have many tools mentioned:
Pen and Laser pointer tool: Using this tool you can point to a location on your slide or you can underline or highlight the text on the slide.
See all Slides: Using this tool you can view all your slide and can switch to the desired slide
Lens: You can magnify any area on your slide to grab the audience attention there.
Black or Unblack slide show: While delivering the presentation if you want to grab the audience attention towards you, you can black out your presentation for a while and after finishing you can again unblack your presentation.
