Steps to change password in gmail:
Step 1: First go to your gmail account and type your email address to log in.
Step 2: Now, enter your gmail password and then click on “Sign in” button.
Step 3: Under gmail settings, just traverse towards “Account and Import” tab as shown in the image below.
Step 4: Under ‘Accounts and Import’, You’ll see different password setting options like change password, change password and recovery options and other Google account settings. Select “Change password” option to change gmail password.
Step 5: As soon as you clicked the “change password” link, you may be redirected to your gmail login screen. Just type your gmail password and press “Sign in” button.
Step 6: When you get logged in then you may see a password reset window which contains ‘New Password’ and ‘Confirm new password’ field, as shown in the image below. (Note: You may see your password text using “Eye icon”).
Step 7: Now, you have to provide your new password in the “New Password” field and then type the same password in the “Confirm new password” field. Click on “Change Password” button to alter your gmail password. (Note: Your password must be at least of 8 Characters and should be unique and strong )
Step 8: Finally, you’ll see a confirmation message saying “Your password was changed successfully”.
