How to check gmail login history

Do you want know to check gmail login history?. Many of you might be worried about unauthorized login to your gmail account. Sometimes intruders try to hack into your account in order to steal your useful data.

Gmail provides us a unique feature of login tracking by keeping  an eye on the browser, Operating system and mobile types as well as  location id (which is basically IP Address) and login date and  time. By viewing each session you would easily determine any  suspicious activity happening in your account.

Steps to check gmail login history:

Step 1: You need to first login to your gmail account by providing your email id and password.

Step 2: Now go to “Gmail Settings” by clicking on gear icon which is at the top left corner of your computer screen.

Step 3: At the bottom right corner of your screen, you may see “Last account activity” as we highlighted this feature for you. Just, find out that option and then click “Details” link as marked in the image below.

Step 4: As soon as you clicked the “Details” link, a new window pops open which gives the recent activity of your account. If you want to log off from all the other web session, then click on “Sign out all other web sessions” button as shown in the image below.

Step 5: After that you may see a success message as marked in the image below. If you further want to show an alert for unusual activity, then click on “change” link.

Step 6: By using “change” link you can easily configure your alert for unusual activity.

Note: It is always suggested to change your password immediately, whenever you may find any suspicious activity.
