Cache is just a temporary file that is stored on your browser which contains the information of whatever you visit, on the websites. It helps in speeding up your browsing. But more number of cache file will decrease the browsing speed. So in this article, I have provided two ways to clear the cache.
The two ways are Clearing the cache Manually and Customising the Clearing of Cache to get the cache automatically cleared up. So let us start with the steps of How to Clear Cache in Mozilla Firefox?
Steps to Clear Cache in Mozilla Firefox:
Step 1: Open your Mozilla Firefox browser and go to the Open Menu button. Then click on the Options button.
Step 2: A new Options tab will get opened in the browser itself. On the left-hand side, there is a preferences bar click on Advanced preference.
Step 3: In Advanced preference choose the category Network.
Step 4: Under Network category there is a Cache Web Content section, which has a button Clear Now. As you click Clear Now the cache content which is currently 350 MB will be deleted or cleared.
By default setting, you have 350 MB of space for cache content, but you can increase or decrease it by overriding automatic cache management. For that, you have to mark the Override automatic management which will allow you to set the limit of cache space.
