Do you know how you can close apps on iPhone? In this tutorial, we will discuss how, why and when we close apps on iPhone. When you are not using an app on your iPhone it goes into the system background and consumes a very little amount of your battery.
When the apps are not in use but still present in the background of the system it appears as if they have been closed. But the difference between the closed apps and apps present in the background is that the apps in the background restart faster as compared to the closed apps.
Now, why do you close the app, simply when you are not using the app or the app is not working properly then you might close the app and restart it again. Well, there is no inbuilt setting using which you can close all the apps at once. Let us discuss the steps to close the apps on the iPhone.
Steps to Close Apps on iPhone:
Step 1: To display all the apps that are in the background just swipe up from the bottom of the screen to upwards approximately up to 25 % of your screen.
Step 2: The step above will display all the unclosed apps.
To decide which app you have to close you can swipe left-right to see which apps are there you can close.
Step 3: To close the app just swipe it upwards from the bottom of your screen. For example, I have to close the AppStore app so I swiped it upward.
When you close the app it disappears from your screen as you can see the AppStore app has disappeared from my iPhone’s screen.
If you don’t have any unclosed app remaining then when you will swipe up the screen to see the unclosed apps you will get this blurred screen.
Note: Well, you can close multiple apps at once by swiping them up using more than one fingers.
So this how you can close apps on your iPhone.
