Step 3: A new window Create a system image will pop up and it will search for a suitable backup device. You can manually select the devices such as DVD option or on a network location. In my system, the setting has chosen F drive of my systems hard disk.
Once the device is selected click on the Next button at the bottom of the window.
Step 4: You can observe that the system has by default chosen all the drives that have files required for running windows. Here you are not allowed to choose a folder that has been selected to store the backup. Apart from the drive chosen to store backup, you can choose other available drives on your systems hard drive.
Click on Next.
Step 5: The Create a system image window will present before you the drive that has been selected to store system backup and the drives that will be backed up. Confirm that entire selection is appropriate and click on Start backup.
Step 6: Now the system is preparing the backup it may take a few minutes depending on the size of data being backed up.
Once the backup has been created the system will ask if you want to create a system repair disk. If you have CD/DVD ROM in your system then you can go for it and create a disc.
You can confirm that the backup folder has been created on the selected drive.
