Bookmarks are the shortcuts of the URLs of websites which you can save on your browser and navigate to them whenever you want, in just seconds, instead of wasting time in searching the website. You can edit, organise, update delete these bookmarks.
Sometimes bookmarks you create, later becomes of no use as you never navigate those pages. Deleting those bookmarks can lead to the more efficient browsing experience. In this article, I have explained how to delete a single or multiple or all bookmarks in Google Chrome. So let us start with How to Delete Bookmarks in Google Chrome?
Steps to Delete Bookmarks in Google Chrome:
Step 1: You can observe in the image below, I have some bookmarks on the Bookmark bar like facebook, twitter, Times of India, etc. To proceed further click on the Customize and Control Google Chrome button (1), that appear on the right corner of the browser.
Step 2: It will pop up some options among them choose Bookmarks which will further pop up some options, now choose Bookmark manager.
Step 3: A new tab Bookmark Manager will get opened. Under Folders section you can view two folders Bookmarks bar and Other bookmarks. Choose the folder of which you want to delete the bookmarks. As I chose Bookmarks bar folder because I want to delete the bookmarks that appear on Bookmark bar. You can view the list of bookmarks under Organise section that belongs to Bookmarks bar folder.
Step 4: In case you want to delete a single bookmark, right click on that bookmark and select Delete. It will result in deleting the single selected bookmark.
Step 5: In case you want to delete a bunch of bookmarks or all bookmarks. Select them all and right click on any of it and select Delete among the popped option. It will result in deleting all the selected bookmarks.
