If you delete any message from your Inbox it still appears in your Gmail’s Trash because those deleted emails are sent to the Trash where it remains for 30 days and after 30 days the mails in Trash are automatically deleted. Nowadays, ‘Trash‘ is known by name ‘Bin‘.
You might feel the need to periodically or immediately delete the Trash folder by yourself without actually waiting for the Gmail to delete it. This can be done very easily and without wasting much of time.
Steps to Delete Trash in Gmail:
Step 1: For deleting emails in Trash you have to first login to your Gmail account. For that visit www.gmail.com and enter your email Id and click on Next.
Further, enter your password and click on Next.
Step 2: As you log in, you can see the menu on the right side of the screen. In the menu, you have to click on ‘Bin’. Earlier it was known by name ‘Trash’.
Step 3: The mails in Bin folder will be displayed on your screen. But, at once only 50 mails are being displayed. Step 4: As you clicked the checkbox, 50 mails in Bin folder will be selected. As you can see in the image below the message is displayed “All 50 conversations on this page are selected”.
Step 5: To select the entire mails in ‘Bin’ click on the link “Select all (no. of mails in Bin) conversation in Bin”. In my case, no. of mails is 1,492.
Step 6: As you click the link “Select all (no. of mails in Bin) conversation in Bin” all conversation in Bin will get selected and a message will be displayed that “All conversations in Bin are selected”.
