How to Disable Comments on a Specific Page in WordPress

Do you want to avoid some contents from your website page or a Blog? Fine, you can easily disable comments on a specific page while editing it in a WordPress. There may be numerous reasons due to which you want to avoid any comment on your page, like fake user, Spam, unwanted and inappropriate use of words etc.

Steps to Disable Comments on a Specific Page in WordPress

Step 1: On Dashboard, select the Pages and under it click onĀ  “All Pages” option.

Step 2: Choose the post for which you want to disable the comments, here I have chosen “Sample Page” and clicked on it.

Step 3: Click on “Screen Option” displayed on the top right corner, a menu will appear select the “discussion” option, as shown in the image below.

Step 4: After that scroll down on the screen, uncheck on “Allow Comments”, you can also uncheck the “Allow trackballs and pingbacks on this page”, but its optional.

Step 5: Once you have unchecked the options, click on “Update”.
