Step 1: Type ‘gpedit.msc’ in the Windows search box and from the displayed result click on gpedit.msc.
Step 2: A new window ‘Local Group Policy Editor’ will get open on your screen. At the left-hand side of the window, you have a navigation panel and here you have to click on ‘User Configuration’.
Step 3: Under User Configuration, you have to navigate to Administrative Templates.
Step 4: Further navigate to Control Panel and click on the Control panel to open it.
Step 5: In the Control Panel under Settings click on ‘Prohibit access to the Control Panel’.
Step 6: A new dialog box ‘Prohibit access to the Control Panel Properties’ will get open. Here go to the Setting tab and click on ‘Enabled’ to prohibit the access to the control panel.
At the end click on Apply and OK.
