Method 1 of 2:
To disable through the System Configuration:
Step 1: Click on “Start” button, and then type “Run” in the search bar. The Run icon appears just below the programs, click on it.
Step 2: Type the command “MSCONFIG” in the dialog box and tap on “OK” button.
Step 3: A “System Configuration” window appears, under general settings make sure that “Selective startup” is selected and the “Local system services” as well as the “Load startup items” options are checked in, so that the startup services will be clearly visible to you.
Step 4: In the same window, go to the “Startup” tab. Here you”ll get all the startup items which are running.
Uncheck on “Java Platform SE Auto Updater” to get rid of java update notifications and it will disable the jucheck.exe file. Then click on “Apply” button to make the changes.
Method 2 of 2:
To disable through the Java Control Panel:
Step 1: Click on “Windows” button and search for “Java” by simply typing it on the search bar. You”ll see various results related to java, click on “Java (32-bit)”, so as to open the java control panel.
Step 2: The Java Control Panel window will now open. Click on “Update” tab at the top, and you will find that “Check for Updates Automatically” option is checked. By default, the check for update is “ON”.
Step 3: Uncheck on “Check for Updates Automatically”.
As soon as, you will uncheck it, a warning dialog box appears, click on “Do not Check”, to permanently disable the java update notification.
