Step 2: A warning is displayed that changing the configuration would affect the performance and security of Mozilla Firefox. Since we have to disable the JavaScript, we have to do changes in configuration. So, click on Accept the Risk and Continue.
Note that you have checked the checkbox to warn you when you attempt to change the configuration.
Step 3: A search bar will appear on the webpage after you click Accept the Risk and Continue button. In the search bar, you have to type ‘javascript.enabled’.
Step 4: A javascript.enabled toggle button will appear. You can see that the JavaScript is by default enabled as its value is set to true. Now, to disable the JavaScript click the toggle button.
On clicking the toggle button you can see the status of javascript.enabled is now set to false which means that the javascript is now disabled.
