OneDrive is cloud storage hosted by Microsoft. You can save your files on the OneDrive, share those files with others and even access your files from any other device if you have an internet connection on that device. Once you have installed OneDrive on your system you can sign in using you Microsoft account credential and the app is ready for use.
If you have Windows 10 then by default OneDrive is installed on your system. But if you have an operating system other than Windows 10 then you have to separately install OneDrive on your system. In this section, we will discuss the steps to install OneDrive on your system.
Steps to Install OneDrive:

Once the OneDrive setup file is downloaded, run that setup file and install the OneDrive on your system. Log in using your Microsoft account credentials and OneDrive is ready for use.
Windows 10
The OneDrive is already installed on Windows 10 operating system. If you have mistakenly un-installed it or it is not visible to you. You have to first uninstall it before reinstalling it. To uninstall the OneDrive app, go to the Control panel> Programs > Programs and Features. Here, search for Microsoft OneDrive app and uninstall it as you can see in the image below:
You can reinstall OneDrive on Windows 10 with two methods:
Method 1
Step 1: After you uninstall the OneDrive app, you still have the OneDrive setup file on your system. To search it follow the path as you can see in the image below:
C>Windows>sysWOW64.
Step 2: You will find a lot of files and folders in sysWOW64 folder. To search OneDrive setup, you can type ‘OneDrive’ in the search box of the folder. Click on the OneDriveSetup file as you can see in the image below.
The OneDrive will start installing.
Method 2
Step 1: Open the command prompt and type cd\windows\syswow64 and press Enter.
Step 2: With the command above now, you are in syswow64 folder. To get the OneDrive setup type the command below and press Enter.
onedrivesetup.exe
The OneDrive will start installing.
Once the OneDrive is installed on your system, you have to login. For that click on Sign in button.
Enter your Microsoft account credentials and click Sign in.
Click Next and follow the given instruction.
You can find the OneDrive folder in your File Explorer index.
