How to empty trash in gmail

Do you want to empty trash in Gmail?. There may be some time when you feel you have lots of unwanted emails, and you want to get rid of them. In that case, you can empty your Gmail trash. Gmail provides a button “Empty trash” which will directly delete your trash mail. But it is always advised to check your mail before deleted them.

Steps to empty trash in Gmail:

Step 1: First go to “www.gmail.com” and enter your email address and password and then click on “Sign In” button to log in.

Step 2: Now, on the left side of your Gmail dashboard, you may see different options. Just select the “Bin” option as shown in the image below.

Step 3: Below the Gmail search bar, you may see a drop-down button. Just click on that button to expand more options.

Step 4: After clicking that button, you may see various options to select the emails like All, Read, Unread, Starred, Unstarred. Here we are selecting “All” option to select all emails stored in the trash.

Step 5: After finalizing your option you may see all the emails have been selected, and a check mark is placed in front of each and every mail. Now, what you need to do is to click on the “Delete Forever” button to empty trash in Gmail.

Step 6: You may see a confirmation message box before emptying your trash. Just click on the “Ok” button.

Step 7: Finally, you’ll receive a notification saying “All messages have been deleted”.
