Steps to enable and disable Cookies in Mozilla Firefox:
Step 1: Open a Mozilla Firefox browser on your screen, click on Open Menu button. From the popped menu click on Options button.
Step 2: A new Options tab will get opened in the same window. From the menu displayed on the left side column, click on the Privacy button.
Step 3: In Privacy settings under History section, set Firefox will to Use custom settings for history.
Step 4: Now to enable Cookies, checkmark the Accept cookies from sites checkbox. And to disable the Cookies uncheck the checkbox Accept cookies from sites.
Step 5: You can set Accept third-party cookies to Always; this will enable third party cookies, and if you set Accept third-party cookies to Never, it will disable third party cookies.
Now, what is third party Cookies?
If you are on a certain website, suppose quehow.com, and you have a Facebook like button on the quehow.com. That Facebook like button will set a cookie on your computer that can be read by Facebook.com, and this cookie will be considered as third party cookie.
Step 6: Setting Keep until will decide the time till when the cookies can reside on your computer.
If you choose, they expire, the cookies will reside on your computer till its reaches its expiry date, which has been set by the site that sent the cookie.
If you choose, I close Firefox; then the cookies will reside on your computer till you close your Firefox browser.
