Microsoft Hyper-V Virtualization allows you to create a new virtual machine on a 64bit Windows operating system. Its Code name is “Viridian” and formerly known as Windows Server Virtualization.

Step 1: Go to the Start menu and click on “Control Panel”.
Step 2: Now under the Control panel, go to “Programs” tab and click on “Uninstall a program” link.
Step 3: Under the “Programs & Features”, Click on “Turn on Windows feature on and off” which is at the top left corner.
Step 4: After clicking, a new window pops open, here you’ll see “Hyper-V.” Just click on the radio button beside it and then press “OK” button.
Step 5: Now, Windows will take some time to apply the changes.
Step 6: After that you’ll see a message “Windows completed the requested changes,” then you have to restart your system, click on “Restart Now” button.
Step 7: Once the system restarts, type “Hyper-V” in the windows search bar, as shown in the image below. You’llĀ get “Hyper-V Manager” desktop app, just click on it to open.
Step 8: Finally, You’ll see that Hyper-V virtualization is installed in your system.
