How to enable right side chat in gmail

Do you want to enable right side chat in Gmail?. Many users always prefer to chat in an old and traditional way as Google Talk and Yahoo Messenger does. But, nowadays Google Hangout users don’t know how to switch chat window side in Gmail as they are keen to experience past chatting experience.

But, don’t worry friends, by using Gmail lab’s “Right-side chat” feature, you’ll be able to switch chat window side quickly. Steps to enable right side chat in gmail:

Step 2: As you can see that your chat window is situated on the left side of your screen.

Step 3: Now, Inside the gmail desktop, just click on the gear icon which is at the top left corner of your screen to open “Gmail Settings”.how-to-enable-right-side-chat-in-gmail

Step 4: Under ‘settings’, just traverse to the “Labs” tab to open Gmail labs.

Step 5: In the next step, you have to type “right side” in the “Search for a lab” search box and as a result, you may see “Right-side chat” wizard in your search results. (Note: By default the status “Right-side chat wizard is disabled “)

Step 6: Now, you need to enable “Right-side chat wizard” by clicking on the “Enable” radio button.

Step 7: Finally, after enabling “Right-side chat” option, you may see your chat window is now shifted towards the left side of your computer screen.
