Bookmark is a recorded address, URL of a website or a page on a website that can be accessed quickly in future. You can record more than one bookmarks on the Google Chrome. In case you want to switch your browser or want to reinstall it, export your bookmarks to a html file, it is just a backup of bookmarks. The html file format is supported by all type of browsers. You can easily import all your bookmarks to the Google Chrome or to any other browser.

Step to Export Bookmarks in Chrome:
Step 1: Open a Google Chrome browser’s window on your screen. Click on the Customize and control Google Chrome (1) button that appears on the top right corner of the window. You have a Bookmarks (2) option in the list. Click on it.
Step 2: Under options provided by the Bookmark, you have a Bookmark manager option click it. You can also reach the step 3: directly by pressing Ctrl+Shift+O.
Step 3: A new Bookmark Manager tab is opened. Under Organise section you can observe all the bookmarks, which you have added. Click on the down arrow of the Organise button.
Step 4: In the options provided by the Organise button, you have an Export bookmarks to html file option click it.
Step 5: A Save As dialog box is opened. Name your HTML file under File name:, and Save.Step 6: You will observe html file in the location you saved. When you will open it, you will find all your bookmark preserved in that.
The bookmarks present in the html file can be imported to any browser as all browser support html format.
