Great, Google contacts are one of the most important feature of Google mail as it stores all the information regarding your colleague, friends and families. You must need to save your valuable contacts in more than one place. For this purpose, you need to use export feature of Gmail.

Steps to export contacts in Gmail:
Step 1: First login to your Gmail account by using your email address and password and then click on “Sign in” button.
Step 2: Now, on the right-hand side of your screen, click on the downward triangle beside “Gmail” logo and then click “Contacts” option to open your contacts.
Step 3: Under Google Contacts, you may see “More” option. Just click on it to expand.
Step 4: After that click on “Export” option as shown in the image below.
Step 5: You may see a window pops open saying “This preview version of Google Contacts” doesn’t support exporting yet”. So you have to click on “Go to old contacts” button.
Step 6: As soon as you clicked that button, you may see a list of your contacts. Just select the contacts which you want to export by clicking the checkbox in front of each contact.
Step 7: Now, go to “More” option and then click on “Export” as shown in the picture below.
Step 8: Gmail may ask you “Which contacts do you want to export?” and “Which export format”. Just select your option and then click on “Export” button. (Note: Here you can export your contacts group wise, and you can easily select exporting format type between CSV and vCard)
Step 9: A window will get pops open, just click on “OK” button to save your CSV file.
Step 10: Finally, you can see your contacts with different fields as shown in the image below.
