Steps to Host a Meeting in Zoom:
Step 1: Open your zoom app. If you don’t have you can download and install it from zoom.us. Now, click on Sign In.
Step 2: Log in using your credentials. In case you don’t have an account with the zoom you can enter through SSO, Google or Facebook account.
Step 3: Once you are logged in you can see the screen as you can see in the image below:
Here you have to click on the New Meeting icon to start a new meeting.
Step 4: As soon as you start the new meeting you can see your own video on the Zoom screen. At the top left corner of the screen, you can see an information icon as you can see in the image below.
Click that information icon to know the details of the meeting you started.
Step 5: From the displayed information you can copy the URL of the invite link and send to those whom you want to join the meeting.

At the right side of the Zoom window, you can see the Participants section at bottom the section you have an Invite button. Click the Invite button.
A new “Invite people to join meeting” window will appear. Here you have so many options to invite people to the meeting.
- You can invite people using your contacts or Email.
- You can ‘Copy Invite Link‘ and send it to the people.
- You can ‘Copy Invitation‘ and send it to the people. Your Invitation will look as you can see in the image below:
You can also get meeting-id and password from the top and bottom of invite window of Zoom and send to the desired people.
