Step 1: Select the folder you want to password protect, then, right click the folder and open “Add to archive…” option.
Step 2: “Archive name and parameters” window will appear on the screen. Select “Advanced” tab and click “Set password…” button.
It will ask you to enter the password.
Step 3: Now “Archiving with password” window will appear. Choose the password and enter it in a password field.
Windows will ask you to re-enter the password for verification. Check the “Encrypt file names” box and then click “OK”.
Step 4: Click on WinRAR file, it may ask you for the password.
Step 5: Enter the password for the encrypted file and click “OK”.
Step 6: Once you entered the password, you will find the WinRAR file.
