Do you want to record a Zoom meeting? Zoom allows the host of the meeting to record the meeting. It may help the host for future reference. Zoom provides the hosts to record the video and audio to the local computer.
For participants to record the meeting, the host is required to provide permission. In this section, we will discuss the steps to record a Zoom Meeting.
Steps to Record a Zoom Meeting:
Step 1: When we talk of the Zoom only the host is allowed to record the meeting. A host can allow the other participants of the meeting to record the meeting.
First, start the meeting as a host. In our previous meeting, we have learnt how to host the Zoom meeting.
Step 2: When the meeting starts you can view a Record icon at the bottom of the screen as you can see in the image below:
Click on the Record icon.
Step 3: As soon as you click the Record icon you can see that the recording process has been started. You can pause the recording when you require and again resume it. You can also stop the recording.
Step 4: To allow other participants to record the meeting. Click on the Participants icon present at the bottom of the screen.
Step 5: At the right side of the Zoom meeting window you can view all the participants of the meeting. When you will hover the mouse over each participants entry you can view a More button beside each participants name.
Now, hover your mouse over the participant’s name whom you want to allow to record the meeting. You will see the More button. Click the More button and from the displayed options click on Allow Record.
Doing this the host allows the participants of the meeting to record the meeting.
To find all your recording click on the Meetings icon and then click the Recorded button to view all the recordings as you can see in the image below:
