You can easily disable some of the Windows services which are of no use to you. But always keep in mind, do not stop the essential services which are required at the time of system startup. 3. Turning on Fast Start-Up
This is the most straight forward to reduce the boot time of your Windows 10 operating system. Under the Power Options, of Control Pannel you have can enable the fast start-up to fasten up your systems boot time.
Steps to Reduce Boot Time in Windows 10
Method 2 0f 3: Disable Windows Services
Step 1: In the ‘Search here’ box of Windows 10 type Run and then click on Run app.
Step 2: In the Run window, type “msconfig” and press “OK” to open the System Configuration.
Step 3: In System Configuration window, click on the “Services” tab, where you’ll find so many processes which are currently running on your system. From these services, you can disable the one which is not important for your computer system.
Step 4: Under the Services tab you have to first click on “Hide all Microsoft services” checkbox which would hide all Microsoft services. Now you’ll find the process other than Microsoft services.
Step 5: Now Uncheck the services which you want to close or stop then click on Apply and after that press OK.
Don’t forget to restart your system in order to notice the change in the performance of the system.
Method 3 of 3: Turning on Fast Start-Up
Step 1: To change the power settings, first, type “Control Panel” in the Windows 10 ‘Search here’ box at the bottom left of your screen.
Step 2: Now under Control Panel, you may see “View by” field at the top right corner, set it to “Large Icons” as shown in the figure, then you would be able to find “Power Options” easily.
Step 3: Now you would easily find the Power Options in the Control Panel, click on it.
Step 4: Under the Power Options of Control Panel, navigate to System Settings and click on the link ‘Change settings that are currently unavailable’.
Step 5: Now, in the Shutdown settings section, click on the checkbox ‘Turn on fast startup‘.
