Step 1: Go the Sign in Page of Gmail with the help of the URL www.gmail.com.
The URL will lead you to the sign-in page of Gmail. Here, you have to enter your email Id in the text box named ‘Email or phone’ and click on Next & proceed further.
Step 2: Next, it asks for the password of corresponding account, if you don’t remind, then simply click on ‘Forgot Password?’ to proceed.
Step 3: Next, it will ask you whether you remember the last password that you have used for this Gmail account. If you don’t remember, then click on ‘Try another way’.
Step 4: Now, it will provide you with the two options to send verification code. You can get the verification code via Text (SMS with 6-digit verification code) or Via Call (a recorded voice call which dictates 6-digit verification code).

Step 5: You will get a call on your registered mobile number. Receive the call and get that 6-digit verification code and enter it in Enter the code text box.
Step 6: Now, you have to reset i.e. change the password. So, enter your new password in Create password text box. Enter it again in the Confirm text box and click Next.
Step 7: Now, you are signed in with the new password that you have just reset. You will be provided with a list of some security issues resolve them and click on Continue to Gmail. Or you can directly click on Continue to Gmail.
