Step 1: Go to the “Start” button and click on “Control Panel”.
Step 2: Control Panel window pops open, under that select “System and Security”.
Step 3: Under “System and Security” you may see various options, from that, just click on “Backup and Restore”.
Step 4: The “Backup and Restore” window pops open, under that click on “Restore my files” button.
Step 5: You’ll see a “Restore files” window, where you can either “Browse for files” if you want to restore a particular file or “Browse for folders” if you want to restore a particular folder.
Step 6: Once you have selected the file, which needs to be restored, just click on “Add files” button.
Step 7: When you select a file, click on “Next” to proceed further.
Step 8: Window will further ask you to select the location where you want to restore your file. Click on radio button according to your wish and then finally click on “Restore” button.
Step 9: You’ll get a message as “Your files have been restored”. If you wish to view the restored files, click on “View restored file” option.
Else click on “Finish” button to complete the process.
