Steps to restore Gmail contacts:
Step 1: First you must need to login to your Gmail account by providing your username and password. After entering all the details, just click on the “Sign in” button.
Step 2: After that, go to Gmail contacts option by clicking on the downward triangle which is situated on the left side of your screen beside Gmail, as shown in the image below.
Step 3: Under Gmail contacts, you may see a list of your contacts. Now, what you need to do is to click on “More” button as marked on the image below to open “Restore Contacts” option.
Step 4: Under Restore Contacts option, you may see a section saying “Please select a time to restore to”. This will restore your contact list to the state that it was at the particular interval of time as you selected. (Note: Restore time can be set within 30 days)
Step 5: If you want to restore your contacts from a particular date, then you can select “Custom” option as in Custom option you’re having days, hours and minutes drop downs.
Click on the “Restore” button after modifying your changes.
Step 6: Finally, you’ll get a confirmation message saying “Your contacts have been restored to the state that they were in (your selected date)”.
