In this section, we will discuss three methods to rotate video in PowerDirector.
Steps to Rotate Video in PowerDirector:
Method 1: Using Cursor
Step 1: Import the video that you want to rotate and drag it on the Timeline.
Step 2: Now, hover your cursor on the video in the preview window near the blue circle you will find that your cursor turns into two curved arrows with the opposite arrowheads.
Just press hold your cursor and drag it circularly to rotate the video in the preview window itself.
Method 2: Using Power Tools
Step 1: Select the video in the Timeline that you want to rotate it will activate the tools above the Timeline. Now Click on the Tools drop-down menu.
Step 2: From the displayed options click on Power Tools.
Step 3: In the Power Tools Settings enable ‘Video Rotation’.
Step 4: As you enable the Video Rotation it will display the controls to rotate video. You can input the degree up to which you want to rotate video directly or you can use rotate left and rotate right button.
Method 3: Using PiP Designer
Step 1: Left click and select the video on the Timeline that you want to rotate and click on the Designer drop-down menu above the timeline.
Step 2: From the displayed options click on PiP Designer to open the PiP Designer window.
Step 3: In PiP Designer window under Properties you have to enable Flip.
Step 4: You will find two options here you can turn the video either upside down or turn it left to right.
When done click on OK.
Note: The Flip option only create a mirror image of your video, you don’t have the freedom to rotate the video in any degree you want.
