To take a screenshot means to take a picture of your screen just as it is appearing. This feature is almost available in every mobile phone including iPhone. A screenshot is instead and easy way to capture some settings or webpage or anything that appears on the screen.
In this section, we will discuss two methods to get a screenshot to your iPhone. One using a couple of keys on your iPhone and second by customizing some settings of your iPhone.
Steps to Take a Screenshot on iPhone:
Method 1: Using Side Keys
To take a screenshot press the side button and the volume up button of your iPhone simultaneously. It will take a screenshot of the screen on which you are currently.
Method 2: Customizing the Settings
Step 1: Tap on the Settings app of your iPhone to get into the settings of your iPhone.
Step 2: On the Settings page scroll down to get Accessibility and tap on it.
Step 3: Being on the Accessibility page scroll down to the bottom and under the Physical and Motor section tap on Touch.
Step 4: Further you have to switch on the AssistiveTouch by tapping on the toggle button beside the AssistiveTouch. As soon as you switch on the assistive touch you will find an assistive touch icon on your screen as you can see in the image below.
Step 5: Now to assign an action to the assistive touch icon tap on Single-Tap. You can also go for Double-Tap or Long Press.
Step 6: From the available options tap on Screenshot.
Step 7: Now just simply tap on the assistive touch icon and you will get the screenshot of the screen on which you are currently.
So, these are the two methods using which you can take a screenshot on your iPhone. Using side keys is the simplest ways to get screenshots.
