How to take Screenshot in Windows 7

The Screenshot is basically the image which is taken by your computer system in order to record your screen. If you want to give a presentation or some demonstration, it is far better to demonstrate your topic with the help of images which are used in the presentation rather than the notes.

There are certain situations when you have to send your display image to your co-worker informing him about some specific problem. It is easy to send him an image of your display by capturing your entire screen in few seconds.

You may also sometimes wish to save any web page in the internet, in that case, you can save those pages without even downloading it. This guide will help you to learn how to take screenshot in windows 7 in few seconds.

Steps to Take Screenshot in Windows 7

Step 1: Press the “Print Screen” key on your keyboard as shown in the image.

This will capture your desired screen.

Step 2:  Now you need to paste the screenshot of the image which you have taken. You can either paste it in paint or in a word.

I have pasted in”Paint”. Go to “Paint” by clicking “Start” icon.

If you wish to send the captured image via e-mail, you can do it by pasting it in the body of an email.

Step 3: Press “Ctrl+V” key on your keyboard, your image will be pasted in paint.

Step 4: Now save your image by clicking “File” tab at the top left corner and click on “Save as” option.

Step 5: Once you click “Save as”, it will ask you to set the name and the type for your image. JPG and PNG are most commonly used file extensions to save an image.
