Note: You can simply drag and drop the file in the dropbox folder created by the Dropbox app on your computer. It will automatically get your file synchronised with your Dropbox account.Or you can manually upload a file to the Dropbox account as shown below.
Step 1: Open dropbox.com on your browser and sign in to your Dropbox account.
Step 2: As your Dropbox account gets opened, for uploading a file click on the Upload button as shown in the picture below.
Step 3: A Upload to Dropbox dialog box will be opened, click on the Choose files button to select the file which you want to upload.
Step 4: A File Upload window will open select the file (document, photo, video, audio, etc.) you want to upload and click Open.
Step 5: The file you selected will upload indicating the green signal. The Upload to Dropbox also allows you adding more files by providing the Add more files button. After you finish adding files, click on the Done button.
Step 6: To share a file just click on that file in the drop box account a Share button would emerge. Click on that Share button.
Step 7: A dialog box will open, type the name or email id of the person with whom you want to share the file and click on Share button.
Step 8: A message will display that the file has been shared securely. You can share the same file to many other people. You also have the option to Delete, Download, Rename, Move, or comment any file you have in your Dropbox account.
