Finally, your wait is over..! Microsoft has launched its next-generation web browser in Windows 10, and this brand new web browser is named as Microsoft Edge. Basically, it’s a new replacement for the Microsoft Internet Explorer.
Microsoft Edge browser has the ability to write, doodle, highlight the specific area in the web pages, make notes, share and to save the web pages. Microsoft call this new feature as a Web Note. In this article, you’ll get to know how to use a Web Note in Microsoft Edge, by performing the simple steps as explained below.
Steps to use a Web Note in Microsoft Edge:
Step 1: First go to the search bar and type “Microsoft Edge” or you can directly click on the edge icon, as shown in the figure below.
Step 2: When your browser gets opened up, then just click on “Make a Web note” button on the top right corner, so as to open the Web Note.
Step 3: As soon as you click on the Web Note button, a new tab will gets pop open which contains “Microsoft edge tools” and “Save and Share tab” as shown in the image below.
Step 4: Your first tool is “Pen” which have different size and colors.
Step 5: Your next tool is “Highlighter” which also contains different colors and sizes. Beside highlighter, you can see the “Eraser” icon which can be used according to your need.
Step 6: Your next tool is “Add a typed note”, by using this tool, you can add a note anywhere in the web pages.
Step 7: Next one is cropping tool i.e. “Clip”, with the help of this tool you can crop anything in the web pages.
Step 8: Now we shall move towards the “Save and Share tab”, By using the “Save Web Note” tool you can save any web pages which you want. Also, you can set that web page to your favorites, or you can add it to your Reading list.
Step 9: Last but not the least is the “Share icon”. Here you can share any web pages via email, Twitter, OneNote or any other program listed on your edge browser.
To close the Web Note, just click on “Exit” button.
