How to use Virtual Desktops in Windows 10

Windows 10 comes up with yet another and a useful inbuilt feature named as virtual desktops, this feature helps you to organize your current running programs. If you have ever used a Mac or Linux, then you will definitely know about this feature.

The virtual desktops feature in Windows 10 is called “Task View” which is located on the taskbar. Just have a glance at this article to find out how to use virtual desktops in Windows 10, by performing the step by step pictorial instructions, as explained below.

Steps to  use Virtual Desktops in Windows 10

Step 1: First, click on “Task View” button which enables the task view interface, as shown in the figure below.

Step 2: Here, you’ll see all your running tasks. You can switch between any task, just by clicking on the particular task thumbnail and also, you can close any of them.

Step 3: You may also see a “+ New Desktop” button, just click on it, so as to add a new desktop.

Step 4: Now, if you want to move your task to some other desktop, then right click on that task and choose “move to” option and select your desired desktop.

Step 5: In order to hide a “Task view” button, just Right-click on the taskbar and uncheck on “Show task view” button.
